Original cover art of Monkey Island 2: Lechuck’s Revenge, drawn by Steve Purcell has been sold at eBay for $4,500! One could only wonder how could the cover art be sold for that price while adventure game developers are lacking support from publishers? As for Mr. Purcell, well done and I really hope a Monkey Island fan is keeping hold of it safe right now. Is it cursed or something by the way? Ron Gilbert wrote the story first on his blog.
