If more games were just half as good as this one

This is beyond the shadow of a doubt one of the best video game trailers ever made. The game it self is among the best as well. Somehow it didn’t get the attention it deserves. (Embedding YouTube videos stopped working on my blog for some reason, while Google Video still works, I had to hyperlink it)

Grimfandango was the last worthy adventure game from Lucasarts. After which, it was all gone and missed. If you still like to get your hands on it, or any other classic adventure game, GamePlanet New Zealand is having it with international shipping. Each game is worth $15. When they first promoted the classic games for sale, it was $7 only! Now it’s out of stock and rising in price. Can you believe the late 90′s game is now sold for the price of Prince of Persia!

This is probably the only PC game I ever played in my life. I loved it, it sure was fun.

And I still haven’t finished it…

Have you played Psychonauts? I haven’t finished that yet either. Stupid exams.

Psychonautos… tried the demo only. I thought it has too much talking for action game. I am ok with talking in action game, as long as it doesn’t stop the game. Like Prince of Persia, talking happens while you are playing.

Do you recommend it?

Dude, it’s Tim Schafer. It’s larger, more awesome, deep, amazing, and (of course) funnier than Grim Fandango. The screenplay won a BAFTA! Also won a Game of the Year award from Eurogamer.

Schafer:

- The Secret of Monkey Island (additional design, writing)
- Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge (designer, writer)
- Day of the Tentacle (co-designer/writer/director, alongside Dave Grossman)
- Full Throttle (designer, writer, director)
- Grim Fandango (designer, writer, director)
- Psychonauts (designer, writer, director).

He gets more awesome every time. DUDE. It’s TIM SCHAFER. How could YOU – of all people – ask that?

Sorry if I’m a bit emotional. But it’s TIM SCHAFER.

OK, I understand. You are Tim Schafer neutral person :)

I can see I am becoming your editor :P
Finally we have solution to your double post habit.

All who played the game said it was great, but better than Grimfandango Excuse me on this :). I find it hard to believe.

I will give it another shot and see. I’m too busy these days moving to new place, and possibly new job. So I don’t have any piece of mind for games sadly.

And I have exams and tearful goodbyes. And a game that’s having people laugh insanely. Yahoo. But it’s on hold until late June because of exams.

Good luck with everything. Oh by the way, I made a mistake: He was an Additional Designer and Writer on Monkey Island 2. My bad, sorry.
