Though many people don’t know this game as was the case with me, I don’t quite remember where I found about it, Crazy Machines 1.5 is the simply made kind of full of fun puzzle games. You basically use some home appliances and tools to accomplish certain task, like move an object, blow up a balloon or even score a goal! In a time where heavily action driven games tend to overtake the market, still many people like to have light low tension puzzle games which they can play in peace and quite. Such a game is nice when you don’t have so much free time, I usually play few levels before I go to work. Rises a smile at the begin of the day. Throughout the game, you use over 100 objects to solve the puzzles. There is a nice simple short level based tutorial to introduce you to all the tools, then you can play the real brain teasing puzzles. After finishing all the puzzles, you can start brainstorming and designing your own. Challenge your mates how fast they can solve yours, and see if you can create levels more sophisticated than the game designers them selves. The $15 price of the game is also very reasonable, keeping in mind the game was just released few months back.
What I did not like about the game is that it does not support multiple profiles. All users should share same progress saves, so ideally you would play the game in turns, one after another finish the whole game. WHY? This is really a shame as such games are fun when you want to compete with your brother and wife. I am sure there is a geeky work around for this by creating two save files and such, but I can’t trust no one is gonna mess up the files this way. Still, I am enjoying the game in 15-30 mins maximum per day for change. If you are puzzle game fan, I would definitely recommend this game for you.
