First iPhone shipments arrive, people already in queue

The first shipment of iPhones have reached their drop locations six days before release now, and the first two iPhone campers have been interviewed. The two campers arrived 100 hours early. One of them is retired and seems to have no life but just waits for the iPhone.

I see this and think, God, in Kuwait if I wait by the bank door 15 minutes early few seconds before the door opens 5 people would jump infront and bypass me. Security usually allows another female or two as well (Ladies first!). So I wonder how silly I would look if I wait a whole week for new item to arrive when people come in last minute and over jump me. Welcome to Kuwait!

I wonder how many times these people actually go, “That was worth it” by the time the product gets into their hands.

They will believe me. At least because of the time they spent waiting for it!

I can’t understand how a human being will wait 100 hours just to spend his money on a product !

and this will never happen in Kuwait, coz everybody will know some on in the company ( or know someone who knows someone ) and he will get any product ( that is if he wants it this bad ) before it’s officially released ..

Yeah, last time telecom company was doing campaign for new handset, before the branch opened more than half was already sold out from internal employees and without the phone line, when it was supposed to be with the line and not for internal staff :P
