It’s all about the iPhone…
Surfing the net for news today where ever I turn I find iPhone news. It’s like nothing else is happening on this planet. I came across some interesting pieces of news and clips:
Steve Wozniak was waiting him self in the queue to get his hands on a bunch of iPhones. I wonder why I’m sure Steve Jobs would’ve given him what he wants. I think it was more of a marketing campaign as he came up wearing iPhone shirt with pre-notification he will be there. Want another proof it was marketing?
Steve Jobs have gifted free iPhone to all Apple employees (full and part time) with more than one year in the company. That’s an estimated $12M worth of value.
Here you can see the iPhone Touch Typing in action, claimed to be not so convenient at all. I’m not so sure of how truthful that is, but it’s up to you to decide.
And this is a nice side-by-side photo of the LG Prada and iPhone. One of them is a clone of the other.
I know many people in Kuwait are dying to get theirs hands on one. Even though my phone is begging for replacement (it’s Nokia 6600 and I work in telecom imagine?) I’ve spent enough money over the past two months and it’s gonna have to keep up for now.

Yes. I was shocked to hear it only supports up to EDGE, no 3G data network! and they call it internet device! COME ON!
Also, there are no 3rd party apps. This is a bad trick you have this beautiful phone but you cant add anything to it. Soon new iPhone with 3rd party apps, or maybe only Apple apps as well.
As I have seen in the news, iPhone is a big thing, but still not as anticipated. Surfing the web is SLOW among other things.
