Grim Fandango. Happy for you. Where did you get the game from? I posted previously about new release of the game playable through CD and compatible with XP. Problem is many of old games are not so compatible with XP.
It wasn’t freezing in my case, but on a certain scene where it depends on your speed, the game was running a bit fast on new laptop and you can never have the time to finish the task! Silly isn’t it?

Conversions are neat. I also use this free tool for conversions here: http://joshmadison.com/software/convert/
Just incase you never tried, Google also has some other stuff like:
inurl:word
it insures that “word” is in the URL searched for.
filetype:pdf
will only return pdf files.
intitle:word

Yeah, they have so many cool features people don’t know about. I knew about the inurl and stuff for long time. I had the Google Hacks book as well, not bad at all for geeks who want to know more than the typical Google search box. Nevertheless the book is outdated now Google is moving fast crazy.
Don’t ask me how I get it. Trust me, it involved more genius, exhaustion, money, head-health from banging my head on the table and sanity than I ever thought I had in me.
I ran it, finally. Installed a patch and made it Windows 98 Compatible.

I agree the book Google Hacks is awesome but so much out dated now. The writer seems a bit busy as well even her weekly newsletter is behind schedule all the time.
