How can I contact Gmail?
Isn’t Gmail just an amazing service? It has spread so fast and became almost a standard. Just like Hotmail used to be in the VERY old days. Sad fact however, Google same as many other sites tend to keep away from customer emails as much as they can, although what drives company best is customer feedback. Gmail it self had massive customer feedback before it was launched. This was to help them address what people really need from their email service.
What Gmail and many other popular sites does is take the customer first through the common problems topics. If customer can’t find it, they ask him to try Gmail discussion group, if he can’t, he would go through one of the Help topics and then click Contact Us at the bottom as he can’t find what he wants. He is then taken to a page to choose what kind of support he needs:
Clicking Get Help with Technical Issue should open contact form. But I found out this is no longer the case. Click it and you are taken to the troubleshooting page, and from ther, you have to go through series of questions until you end up with final solution. Only some of the questions end up with possible contact form. Many others don’t have and simply consider the problem solved or asks you to go to the Google Groups to search for an answer. If you are lucky, you will either find your solution or get to the contacts page. But what if you’re not? I noticed also the contacts page has certain parameters attached to define where you came from:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=bugs&ctx=bugflow_chat12
So even going to the contact page from a different question may not give you the help you hope for and they might consider it inappropriate question. Now I can understand such companies receive massive amount of support emails, most already have been answered many times. But this is not a way to treat valid concerns. If you want to know why, search Google Groups for contact gmail and see what you get.

Very.Q8ya: Start today. Import all your contacts to Gmail. Then send a couple of emails to all the list I have changed my official contact.
It will take sometime to migrate your registration contacts however. But it will work out great trust me. I’ve done it.
Somehow I look again at my post, which is a criticism of their service, yet everyone takes it as complement :)
Gmail is great. But proper support makes you feel much more safe and relaxed. I am also pushing my friends for it all the time. Most of my hotmail users were removed from my list of contacts since the same thing ever time. Bounce back!
Im having some issues with my e mail account could anyone from the helpdesk mail me so i can tell it.I didnt find a anwer from FAQs. plz its urgent!!!
Try the questions. If you can’t find an answer, you should see an email contact option. If not, Try support@gmail.com . Not sure though they would reply.
I received email from gmail customer service to update account or account will be closed in 7 days. Is this something that really came from gmail? I was afraid if it were fraud.
NG: Is it from gmail or google account? Official emails usually come from something@Google.com
So, to the original account – Is there a way of EASILY contacting gmail? The user (and you’ll have to read between the lines because it will be concealed) coxanh15 – at – gmail – dot – com created fraud using my creditcard. I’d like to find out if they can issue the FBI and White Collar Crime who this person is. They have charges hundreds of dollars on my card. I’ve already reported it, but I want to “FRY” the —–F-ck-er! Sorry for wording, Im a bit upset…

Deborah: Sorry for late reply, and sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, Google does not want that EASILY way! They want to minimize the headache on their side, which is understandable to some extent. But some issues are just major I believe to be dealt with this way.

I am afraid you got the wrong place. This is not Gmail support, it’s a standalone blog site not related to Google what so ever.
I am extremely frustrated in trying to create a New Group. I have followed exactly the directions given in GmailHelp: clicked Contacts, then clicked New Group button; and from there I am stuck. There is no place to enter the name of the new group, and no place to check OK.
I have checked every possible help option on Gmail that I can find. I would appreciate any suggestions.
mother.felicitas: That’s weird. It’s a matter of one click from Contacts page to create group, next thing is writing that group name.
Mea: Blocking is from chat. He can mark you as spam for emails if he likes I guess.
Wow! I’m frustrated to the max. I just cannot get through to any gmail support.
My problem is as follows:
I have a gmail account and when I try to enter it says that the user name and password do not match. I know they do as I use them everyday, but I did as requested and reset my password anyway, but hey, it still doesn’t match-up.
So I went to Help Centre and I sent a report to the gmail; they sent back an automated response telling me to change my password. I’ve already done this.
I filled out another form (same as last time telling them I’ve already reset my password – in fact it’s a form for filling out if changing your password doesn’t solve the problem!). And still the same automated “change your password” response.
Where else can I go to get help?
I’ve tried both support@gmail.com (which doesn’t exist) and gmail-support@google.com
(which sends back an automated response saying “We aren’t able to respond directly to inquiries submitted to this email address”. Then it gives me another link to there (un)Help(ful) Centre! So much for gmail support!
Does anyone have any ideas what I can do now or who I can contact?
I really can’t figure how to get back into my account.
Please can someone help me? Reseting my password just isn’t working.

I can’t find the contact information for customer service….what’s up?
I opened a second email account and can’t remember the pass word. All my attempts at the password along with getting through to customer service have failed.
I also have an urgent problem which is not remotely covered by gmails help page. I also tried the two ’support’ addresses listed here and you simply get told to look at the help pages. The bottom line is that it’s impossible to email gmail and the only solution is to either find an answer online (which in my case doesn’t exist)from someone else or simply give up on gmail. I thought youtube were appalling but at least you can eventually contact them. Gmail however simply does not have any customer support at all
when i log into gmail it always says trouble shooting and techniclye problems and it has been like that 4 a couple of months and my friends in the chat list cant come u it is not that there is somtin wrong with my computer cause my sis is on gmail and hers is fine.please help me

Hi…my brother in law passed away suddenly on jan. 3, 2009 and actively used his gmail email address which we have. however, we are unable to get into it since we don’t have the password. He used this site for business, etc. please help. we can provide a death certificate if necessary. thank you. time is of the essense.
