Forza Google!
Over the past week things have gone from good to great at the Googleplex. So many great news that there stock price now looks like this:
Yeah share holders are dancing now I know. See GOOG on Google Finance and see how the news are going around them. Some of the latest news are:
- Google Launches AdSense for Mobile: Google’s strongest and most source of income is from their ads. It’s what separates them from the rest. And now, a new untouched area of ads is open. I bet some good things will come out of it.
- Google Presentation Tool: Another great addition to their online collaboration office tools, in addition to Documents and Spreadsheet.
- Google Widget Ads: Again, another tunnel of Ads that is more attractive, different than the classic one that you keep away from. One that looks compelling and could drive useful data.
- New satellite for Google Earth: Digital Globe is launching new satellite into space, mostly for the Google Earth imagery. The satellite was designed to make at least 290,000 square miles of images per day.
- gPhone… Again proven: Unintentionally maybe, but all pointers proof one thing only. Google Phone is on the way. It’s a matter of EDGE or 3G perhaps. I’ve written before about the evident signs of it coming, and the continuous telecom technology acquisition by Google. Imagine what power Google would have in their hand if they do acquire radio band, produce phones, bundle them with Google products, provide FREE telecom services in exchange of sponsored ads. With the evolution of telecom industry, Google could be the next Microsoft here and start receiving old Microsoft monopoly lawsuits you can predict.
- What you want more? See Microsoft maybe they have some.
