Build your own Wii games in-house

The new hack into Wii that allowed users to run their on code on the console, even if only partially successful and with no motion-sensor support, the hack video could really mean soon you will get custom user made small games to run on the Wii, which could bring real more joy and fun to everyone. Nintendo definitely didn’t promote for this hack, and neither I found any comment from them on it, but I think what a smart move would be is to let people really enjoy it! You can’t even imagine what users would have in mind that they want to bring into reality, and what would Nintendo have to lose? More consoles off the shelf. That’s it. Surely home games won’t take commercial games place as is the case with PC gaming.

I hope to hear some announcement from Nintendo about it, or keeping a blind eye on it rather than taking what Apple took on the iPhone.

Happy new year. ;p

Blue Dress: It’s the only missing console from the console collection. I’ll be honest, it’s got amazing graphics, games, however it’s buggy, and got Microsoft tag on it :)

Forza PS3. Their sales are starting to boom…

Happy new year to you 2 :>

Quite lucky! As if the WII needed more sales!

PS: I agree on 360. Happy new year!

Homebrew games are pretty good, but unfortunately I don’t like the idea of hacking my consoles, even if it’s for my own good, unless Nintendo comments positively about it. It would be good to run the fans-made Metroid game on my Wii.

Ken: Well, I haven’t thought about the down side of it, and I really agree to your point. It could harm my dear console, and then I only got my self to blame. But it does mean more console sales for Wii also :P

Nice. The nintendo wii really is a sweet console.

But Ken’s got a point. Hacks might affect ur console
