Easy fix, for all windows vers. In internet explorer go into Tools/Internet Options/Connections Tab/Lan Setting. Once in Lan Settings, uncheck all boxes. ALL youtube videos will load now.
Pass it on.

netmanb2k: Actually, this turned out to be a separate issue related to Qnet and was fixed. It’s only a coincidence to happen almost same time as the YouTube chaos. If MOC is really blocking such normal videos selectively, it actually makes matter worse.

This problem is due to new MOC roles in Kuwait to block some videos inside youtube, and its not the ISP’s problems, and you can see this news in the newspapers, MOC originally request to block all youtube, then they desided to block some the content not all of it.

And you never know may be they will block it all.

I agree with whoever said that its more of a connection problem than actual blocking, I do get the videos to load after a few dozen refreshes as well. most of the times its because cache.googlevideo.com is not reachable, whenever I am able to ping it; I would be able to get most videos to work.
I would also like to state again that: MOC sucks.

If you sniff the traffic with Wireshark, you’ll see that the Youtube server responds with a 403 Forbidden when you try to get the video. I’m still not sure why this is happening.

Yes, so far I’ve only seen this with Qualitynet and my guess is that it’s because of their transparent proxy cache.

I get it too, just refresh the page dozens of times until it starts loading… and since it does load after a few refresh hits, its most likely that qualitynet is behind this. Plus it doesn’t happen with other ISPs for some reason.

i read in one of the blogs that its because of quality net, they have a prob with streaming …

but when you copy paste the link in a new window it opens. its not blocked .. try to copy paste the link in a new window .. works for me
