This reminds me of my encounter with BSA here in Kuwait when I posted how I accidentally cracked found a way to crack a Mac App called Menufela. That guy even threatened but it was just a big-show-no-go. :P

nemo: Heh… It’s good it lasted that long. I know how tempting i gets. On the other hand, I found out that I enjoy the movie more when I buy it original, for the fact that when I buy it, I really want it, and I don’t have 20 other movies waiting in line :)

I dont think i can stop downloading music and movies :S

its really too hard :S the effect of the computer ethics course lasted only for 6 months :S

nemo: Yes exactly. But there is a standing point for pirates that DRM sucks, and buying physical DVD is old fashion. Making it as easy and similar to piracy is gonna encourage more people to buy legal ones. It will not stop piracy. Nothing will. That’s why I said, Now You Can :)

I am personally against piracy though. I’m sure you know that. Some people spent years and millions on this piece of software, or movie. Don’t I need to pay 2 KD to see it? 2 KD to them, not the Indian guy selling copy versions ;)

thats nice, but will it stop ppl from downloading free stuff?

i remember after i took computer ethics at school i stopped downloading pirated stuff for six months and even one of my friends bought a software instead of using the pirated one! but eventually we couldn’t resist :s:s:s

no matter what they do … it all goes back to our ethics
