Bye Bye Accoona

Accoona.com, the site that started back in 2005 have finally given their last breath, admitting the touch competition and how hard it is to maintain such an expensive service up and running. Not that I was a heavy user of it, but I did like their Business Search service. 

 

Fare well.

That reminds me of HotBot.com. It was like my search engine of choice back in the day. ;p

MacaholiQ8: Really? I never had favorite before Google. Well, maybe Ask.com for sometime. I was so naively impressed by putting question mark at the end :P

I don’t think I ever liked any other search engine other than Google. if any then that is yahoo which i used before 10 years.

tone Health: Well, Yahoo was powered by Google until 2004 :)
