First ½ kg K.D. 3.000
Each additional ½ kg K.D. 2.500
We appreciate your understanding as this situation is completely outside the scope of our direct control since fuel represents a significant variable cost in the provision of transportation services.
We want to assure you that our most important objective is to continue providing you with quality transportation services that meet your needs effectively. Our customer service teams are ready to answer any query you may have concerning the rate increase or any of our services.

At over $140, Aramex raised their prices because of oil price, and we could understand it back then. Now with the oil price at around $50, half what the price was at begin of this year, Aramex has the chance to earn customer’s trust back and revert back to normal prices.
Are they gonna take that chance?

99% they won’t bring it down again. But I think if they were clever they should. Since this opens an opportunity for new competitors offering lower prices.
I doubt they will do anything about it! I think they will think that the customers are fine as is!
And for fuel prices to reflect it will take about 6 to 9 months to show up in consumer usage!
my stuff stays in the mailbox for AT LEAST 5 days b4 they ship it… i’m lookin 4 other options now to replace them!

forzaq8: Our stock market went down and closed :P. The least, we will prove the price raise was not related to oil then.
SOlo: I totally agree. A small decrement would win people’s trust back. They would earn my trust.
Marzouq: I really wish we are all wrong here. Let’s see. it’s now lowest in all year time. So low as a matter of fact.
blasha: As much as I agree to this, and have highlighted it to them, other competitors are far behind in many aspects, and for some reason their shipments get stock in customs so often.
They will never do it and they won’t even care about their customers because there are no serious rivals in this business, they know we need them. B@stards.
Thats a great find! …. i wonder what they have to say on this … but at the same time? what else have come down ? except KDD milk….

Rayboy: I don’t personally care about KDD milk, as their price raise was outrageous and unjustified. They are 100% Kuwaiti company, so their operation should be the same. They lowered their prices perhaps as more and more people started boycotting them. Can you believe Carrefour was fresh out of KDD juice?
Some told me you can find KDD products in gulf countries cheaper than in Kuwait!
I didn’t really know however they lowered their prices. In Aramex’ case however, their were quite straight forward. Oil went up, we are delivery company, we raised our prices.

Maze: I do use them regularly. I do notice increasing delay in marking the shipment as inbox and updating it’s tracking info recently.

some prices went down already, but I was told we’ll see a nice decline in 2009. I’m not sure why I doubt anything will go down here! I guess we’ll have to wait and see but don’t hold your breath!!!
