Congrats Open World Browsers…
For the first time in eight years, IE browser users percentage dropped to less than 70% (Thanks to IE 7) as Firefox soared above 20% for first time for a whole month. Chrome has it’s 0.8% share as well, and surprisingly, their launch did not stop Firefox from their expansion.
Guess it is a happy new year for Firefox then :).

maryam: Really? I rarely need to use Chrome, and IE is now for testing site compatibility :)
But Chrome needs to open up for user plugins or else
I personally prefer Safari and Firefox though I cannot wait to try Chrome on my Mac, hoping it’s the best of both worlds.
MacaholiQ8: It’s fast, much more reliable. But you lose the luxury of plugins. Your choice.
nemo: Hmm… say that again? IE6! :). You disappoint me. is it lighter and faster than Chrome?
No problem at all… Safari doesn’t support plugins as well yet it’s my browser of choice. I even downloaded Windows version on my slow @$$ Acer laptop and it performs great.
Chrome will be my future browser (i don’t like this release) + there is no linux version yet

Whom to believe and whom not to? I read almost several ratings of Chrome from .8% to 5.2%. It is very conditional as the stats taken by different organization, this is obvious as the users are in various scales and who knows whose users are who?
tone Health: Very true. However I think 0.8% is more truthful. 5.2 in this short time is too big to believe

i had a Macbook too but passed away, “first “generation – random shutdown problem”
i hated macs after that :p
there has to be more girls using linux but i don’t know them yet :p
I like chrome, but always end up facing problems with it and it doesn’t run everything … so I end up using firefox. I only run IE when checking work email or playing MSN games ;)
