Console Vs PC Gaming on aMap.com

So I came across this aMap new site via TechCrunch, which takes your debat into a tree-like fascinating way to flip through the debate as it grows. So I started just for the sake of testing (and I have a very strong feeling I wil l regret it) the debate of Console vs PC Gaming…

Ohh I’m already having the Deja Vu of last time I posted about gaming preference.

yup, when u go to shop want to buy original game, most of there is for pc,

Until Console controls (Game Pads, ..etc) and human Interactions (chat be it typed, voice, video,..etc) get better I’d still say PC.

Think about, aren’t consoles evolving more and more towards a PC-like capabilities and not the other way around?

Consoles have the advantage of standard hardware and smooth performance which means less possibility of crashes or cheating/hacking yet still have a long way to go before becoming nothing more than a standard gaming PC-Console hybrid of which we are already seeing the first generations of.

I enjoy playing on both but for obvious reasons (Price, availability, easy of mind usage and less maintenance are a few reasons) most people would lean toward consoles which is why it receives the attention from the large gaming companies..

However your second argument is what made me lean towards consoles more starting last year. I’ve had enough with Windows errors spoiling my games, and game manufacturers have had enough supporting different brands and specs for a much more piracy dominated PC market. Net result is, console gaming gets more resources into it.

MacaholiQ8: Then get one ;). Or you know what… just do your Plan A thing, and then play it smart so that A gets you the console, if you know what I mean :)

I like the site, but got confused when trying to add a point ;P

Till now I prefer consoles, much more cleaner and simpler, but still some popular games, ex. war craft are played on PC.
