Can Gmail Chat Talk to MSN?

I’m not sure how true is that, but before today I never saw Hotmail contacts on my side menu chat list, today I see several of them, some I only contacted once long time ago, and can invite them. Up till now, I couldn’t see anything on Google News or anywhere else, but here is a snapshot:

    I’ve had them ever since, all are added by default when you send.

    Even fake email addresses, that I use to test ;) I have to remove them afterwards

    maryam: Really? So it’s just by chance they all decided to show up today?

    I’m kinda glad it’s not. It would’ve removed pressure on MSN to support the standard

    I have only one hotmail contact on my gmail chat and it’s been there since the first few days I created my account. Never really thought about it.

    well, if you open one of your contacts details, you’ll see an instant messenger section and an MSN choice etc. , then simply type in the hotmail adress. i tried it, but i don’t think it’s for that purpose since it didn’t work. though you lot may already now that.. it would be a break through if it did, people would go mad about it (:

    you can chat with your friends but from Gmail.com to hotmail.com oooh now thats pretty tricky i don’t even know how to do it. my friend explained to me but i still don’t get it,any way you don’t have to chat by typing instead you can chat face to face. trust me it’s fun i’ve tried it before. well ttyl bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    tetetabarak: Yeah but ticket to travel around the globe and time it takes to chat to someone in another country doesn’t make it that easy for me.
