10 ways to customize Google Chrome

One of the main downsides of Chrome compared to Firefox is the lack of extensions feature and ability to do customization. TechRadar is giving however 10 ways you can customize and improve Google Chrome to your likings, including a link to how you can customize or make your own Google Chrome theme. I didn’t know that exist, although I still prefer the current one.

On a side note, if you love Flock for all the social features it has, you gotta start loving Chrome, as Flock is abandoning Firefox.

    Not at all.
    I love my gmail :)
    I’m just a tough fan of FF and now of Flock :P
    I might try Chrome one day,am just too *busy* (hence: lazy) ;)

    Nicole: Probably for your cause, FF and Flock are better yeah :). Chrome will get extensions later on this year by the way, so dont be afraid.

    nemo: I never liked Opera. Firefox really is slow on Linux with me at least.

    maybe because the first time i used firefox was on linux .. first impression is really important :p

    on windows i use firefox (fastest) but i still hate it cuz its torturing me on linux

    I’m currently in the Information Technology Program in College and all my Teachers look down on IE and Chrome , They always telling us to use Mozilla Firefox due to the fact that IE and Chrome are always crashing on our DELL computers in school but then again DELL computers are garbage anyways but I’ve alway use Firefox even now Firefox 4 is even faster on my Mac book pro.

    tobie: Chrome crashing is odd… IE I know, but not Chrome… not in my experience at least. Best thing about chrome is each tab is separate process, and crashes on it’s own usually. You can just close this tab. Also the speed is incomparable. Firefox takes way much longer to launch fresh, while Chrome re-opens with 20 tabs or so faster.

    I love the plugins collection in Firefox, but the speed have made it a stranger to me.

    Chrome’s a lot faster than FireFox. Some applications just lag when I open them in the latter. I like many of Chrome’s features.
