But I can argue I have official proof, and the least is I can know if the original receipt will get me warranty or it expired 3- again, some do and other don't. It involves knowing all the signals of the device and knowing how to interface with an OS. 2) Let's say you scanned the receipt, and when you needed it, you printed it. Would the shop owner still acknowledge it and honor the warranty, since your printed receipt is not the original one. 3) All shops keep their receipts but still mandate that you bring yours. Why?
