Google Chrome (MUST) RSS Subscription Extension

Know this little icon that appears on the right of the address bar?

This is what tells you that there is an RSS feed to this page that you can subscribe to. And this is what you don’t get in Google Chrome browser for some reason. To get it, I have to search for RSS link on the page, copy it, open Google Reader and subscribe to it. How lame is that?

But here is the simple solution.

Why would something like the RSS auto-detection be just an optional extension, while the page translation is a built-in can’t disable feature?

Stop Dvoraking :P if you’re expert enough to use google reader you should have installed that extension already when they first released extensions for chrome :)

MrMMM: I think you’re Dvoraking here so I’m just gonna repeat the question:

Answer: Cause they wanna push Google Translation ;)

When you download Google Chrome for the first time, you should install it with all the function…

I agree with Bashar.

If translation is added by default, then RSS should’ve been added by default as well. It should be a basic feature for browsers.

Extensions should… um… extend browser functionality.

I LOVE the page translation :D

It’s not a huge hassle searching for the RSS feed you know :P
We’re so used to shortcuts, built-in, think one step ahead kinda-way :P

new: I think this all the options was after I downloaded the early beta on it’s first day of release :)

Haider: Yeah my point exactly :)

Bloggylife: But the RSS auto-detect is kinda standard now.
